Wildlife Insights Dataset

We've worked tirelessly to review & tag wildlife observed during three years of underpass monitoring along the borders of the Mojave National Preserve. Our results were published HERE and the photo dataset is available over at Wildlife Insights.

Technical Reports

Technical reports communicate methods, results, or literature reviews on a focused topic or project. They can be a way to share information from a research project to managers or funders that may be interested in more details than those covered in scientific publications.

Desert Bighorn Genetic Database

COMING SOON
Picture
Genetic connectivity can change over time as the landscape changes and new data are collected. Our desert bighorn genetic database brings together all the genotypes collected from desert bighorn over multiple generations across the southwest into one repository. We designed a web app to allow researchers to access these data to answer questions about bighorn connectivity, gene flow, genetic diversity, and beyond. Much of this genetic info has already contributed to research highlighted on the Publications page.

Sign Survey Methods

COMING SOON

We're currently analyzing data to test the efficiency of a new sign survey methodology for bighorn sheep. See our research page for more info on the effort! Once complete, we will share the survey protocols and other tools to help you select your survey sites and interpret the resulting data.
