Desert Bighorn Sheep
Welcome! |
The Desert Bighorn Sheep Connectivity Project provides data & tools to help understand & protect bighorn sheep populations in the deserts of Southern California. Use this site to learn more about who we are and what our research can do for bighorn sheep. This page is being updated as our research develops, so come back and see what's new.

We represent multiple university, government, and non-profit agencies. Our projects wouldn't be possible without the collaborative efforts of local and distant partners, as well as funding from the National Park Service and National Park Foundation

A Team of Researchers, Managers, and Volunteers |
Applied Research to Aid Bighorn Sheep ManagementIt's no small task to monitor & manage a species across a vast & rugged desert landscape, but science can help. We apply the latest techniques in wildlife ecology to answer questions that directly relate to management and conservation goals.
|
Tools to Track and Respond to ChangesWe strive to provide useful and accessible analyses, tools, and datasets. When new challenges arise on the landscape, these products can help identify actions that harm or promote bighorn population resilience.
