Patrick Emblidge
Patrick Emblidge is no stranger to working with the animals and plants of arid ecosystems. From conducting his Master's research on Gila monsters in southwestern Utah, tracking desert tortoises for translocation research in California, to evaluating sage brush steppe restoration efforts in central Oregon, he's well-versed in all things desert. Add bighorn sheep sign surveyor to that list and there are few things left that Patrick can't do when it comes to field research in desert habitats.
Currently Patrick works with Oregon State University's Northwestern Bat Hub to manage acoustic data from large-scale bat monitoring across the PNW. |
