Megan Petersen
Megan is a first-generation college student that earned her Bachelor of Science in Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Sciences through Oregon State University in June 2022, and plans to continue her education and gain experience in the field. She currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, but is originally from Northeast Texas where she spent her youth fishing, kayaking, and camping on the many lakes and rivers throughout the region.
Megan was thrilled when Dr. Christina Aiello reached out to offer her an intern position with Desert Bighorn Sheep Connectivity Project where she provides data analysis and species identification from the many trail cameras used in the project. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, fishing, camping, and spending time with her family. She is excited to jump start her career in fisheries and wildlife biology and is eager to be part of this project. |
